PROJECT MANAGEMENT

J G Hughes & Associates are experienced in successfully delivering various projects, whether they be the overseeing of a modest residential extension, bespoke new build or a multi-million pound estate refurbishment contract.  We use our extensive knowledge to ensure the client’s requirements are met and the project is delivered on time and within budget.

We can take care of every aspect involved in project managing the whole process, from advising on the most appropriate type of contract, obtaining competitive tenders, overseeing the works on-site to ensure compliance with the design and specification, through to administering the contract. 

   
 

Below are the typical services we undertake:

  • Contract and Procurement Advice to ensure the most suitable contract is adopted based on your project’s specific characteristics.
  • Tendering the works to suitable contractors.  Providing a comprehensive Tender Report analysing the accuracy of the returned tenders and advising whether they represent value for money.
  • Contract Administration of the works whilst on site and advising the client of progress and resolving potential problems.
  • Valuing and Certifying Stage Payments based on the value of works completed to a satisfactory standard.
  • Progress Reporting by regular inspection of the works and holding regular progress meetings.
  • Final Accounts negotiated and agreed.
  • Handing Over of project to client ensuring all necessary Certificates have been issued to conclude the project.
